GLENN V. TINNIE
PHOTOGRAPHER

As a native New Yorker, I have always enjoyed photography.  I incorporate my interest of the sociology of  people’s culture and interest.

I am privileged to have photographs published and won various photography awards.  I've exhibited in New York    City, Miami, and several Long Island locations which including Southampton, Brookhaven National Laboratories,  Dowling College,  Suffolk Community College, corporate office facilities and various libraries.

I am an active member of the North Shore Art Guild, East End Arts Council, Brookhaven Arts and Humanities Council and the East End Photographers.

My photographic philosophy is:  photography is my vehicle to pause time and have the viewer vicariously enter my world of place and time and to simply enjoy.

I strive to convey those indigenous characteristics of the subject that makes it unique.   My photographic subject matter is a compass of diversity from people to landscapes, cityscapes, still life to very alive-life. 
I have a very special love for photographing New York City and automobiles.
